Treuth is a data sharing program contracted for use by law enforcement.  The data in the auto theft workspaces is the property of the law enforcement agencies and subject to the applicable State or Federal data practices laws. 

This is an official system for authorized use only.  Unauthorized access to this system is a violation of applicable statutes and other laws within the jurisdiction utilizing Treuth.  The data in the system is for official law enforcement use only.  Law enforcement prohibits unauthorized access, disclosure, duplication, modification, diversion, destruction, loss, misuse or theft of information in accordance with applicable State and Federal laws.  Users who are aware of violations shall report them to the prosecuting authority or your Administrator of the Treuth workspace you are authorized to utilize in your professional capacity.

All use of the system constitutes express consent to monitoring, interception, recording, reading, copying, capturing, and dissemination of data collected via these methods to and by authorized personnel.  Authorized personnel may give any potential evidence of crimes found on the computer system to law enforcement officials.

By accessing this system users agree:

• I do not have an expectation of privacy using the system.

• I will not allow others, including within my own agency, to use my login credentials.

• I will safeguard my login information and not leave the system logged in unattended.

• I understand the data in the system may require verification and is not individually a basis for a stop, detention, search or arrest.

• I will follow all applicable data practice laws and use the system for law enforcement work-related purposes.

• I will not download/print/disseminate data on a specific case unless it is related to a case I am assigned to.

• I will direct data practices requests for information from the system to the Administrator(s) of my workspace.

• I will not publicly share/disseminate information from the system without express permission in writing from the Administrator(s) of my workspace.

• I will report violations of this policy I am aware of to the Administrator(s) of my workspace in writing.

 If you have questions, need assistance, or want to add additional uses to the system, please contact your workspace Administrator. 

Applicable Law Enforcement leadership will review all requests and access will not be approved unless above requirements are met. If approved you will receive a Welcome Email from the Treuth workspace(s) for access. Once you are approved and granted access, please verify your profile information, upload a profile picture, turn on SMS in your profile settings, and join applicable groups so you can receive SMS alerts.
